Linkin Park’s Meteora was one of the first CDs I ever bought for myself. With some money I had been given for my birthday, I visited HMV on Oxford Street and bought my very own copy of Meteora (as well as Avril Lavigne’s Let It Go).
March 25th 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Linkin Park’s second album, so as the second iWillBatle & Friends Presents project, myself and a group of talented mashup producers gathered together to produce a track-by-track mashup tribute to this classic nu-metal album. We even managed to include some mashups of their previously unreleased tracks finally getting an airing for the album’s anniversary.
We also had so many great submissions, plus some classic LP mashups that were considered for the main album that I’ve gathered a bunch of these alternate takes into a bonus disc for your enjoyment!
Shout out to Peggy_P for collaborating with me on the artwork. Most of the photoshop work was by them, I mostly just did the logo and some of the concept.
